Join us for an afternoon of empowering short films by talented women from across Wales.

Free film screening event – as part of the Women Who Create Wales – St David’s Day programme.

Join Mioe for a selection of 6 unique short films and a feature documentary. Films explore varied themes including nature, home, safety, homelessness, heritage and activism, from women’s perspectives.

Gentle, Angry Women – Currently touring the UK sharing the story of the Greenham Common Marches 40 years on.

No Place Like Home – A documentary made by the Swansea Women’s Collective exploring misogyny and asks why, in 2025, 1 in 4 women in the UK still aren’t safe in their own homes?

She Said – A short film about a love letter containing unwanted realities.

Lesser Horsehoe Bat Lullaby – A group of women in Penllegaer share their connections with a matriarchal colony of rare bats.

Angelina’s Colourful Life – A unique story of resourceful creativity.

Home – A moment to reflect on what it means to migrate

The Gardener – A gardener prepares for a joyful ‘after-death’ as she becomes part of the orchard she planted.

The Volcano bar will be open from 4pm and films start at 4.30pm.
