July 2019 & Sept 2019 – Swansea Tales Lego Animation 2 Day Workshops – At Volcano Theatre – Years 3, 4 & 5

Swansea Tales was a  two-day lego animation workshop for primary schools, with a focus on the children developing skills to enable them to listen, understand, interpret and tell stories.

Storyteller Tom Docherty & Animator Darren Latham delivered workshops to Year 5 pupils at Sketty Primary School and Blaenymaes Primary School which explored story creation, narrative, storyboarding, animation (using Lego, drawing and painting) and film production techniques. The first round of workshops engaged 60 pupils.
