Year of the Dragon
A month of celebrations
Year of the Dragon at Volcano
A month of celebrations in partnership with Chinese in Wales Association.
Supported by Arts Council of Wales Connect & Flourish and the Western Bay Community Cohesion Fund.
2024 is a year of the Wood Dragon, starting from February 10th, 2024 (Chinese New Year) and ending on January 28th, 2025 (Chinese New Year’s Eve).
The Dragon symbolizes power, nobleness, honor, luck, and success in traditional Chinese culture. The Dragon is a supernatural being with no parallel for talent and excellence.
Volcano has teamed up with the Chinese in Wales Association and other Swansea Partners to bring you a month of activities, exhibitions, performances and stories celebrating the Year of the Dragon.
ALL EVENTS FREE. RESERVE PLACES FOR BOOKABLE EVENTS HERE
