A spectre is haunting Wales : that of Reform UK.

At the recent general election, Nigel Farage’s bigoted bunch of racists, misogynists and homophobes came second in many Welsh seats. Polls suggest that they are in danger of winning many constituencies in the Sennedd elections in less than 18 months time, perhaps ending up as the second biggest party, or possibly even worse.

Given the scale of this threat, we need a united, broad, diverse and vigorous campaign of all those targetted by Reform. Muslims, anti racists, the LGBT+ community, Trade Unionists, environmentalists, NHS users, Welsh nationalists and more are all threatened. And worse, a big vote for Reform will further boost the confidence of Fascist street thugs, who are already throwing their weight around.

In an attempt to help launch such a campaign, Swansea Stand Up to Racism has booked Volcano in High Street on the evening of February 25th for a meeting where we can discuss the best ways to come together to take on this very real threat to us all.
