For young people aged 13-16.
Work with top professionals from Volcano’s creative team this half term, for a taster of how to devise your own performance and movement in a fun and safe environment. The emphasis is on creativity and support. It’s a place to try things out and find new ways of interacting with others.
No previous experience is necessary.
You’ll be working with experienced professionals who have directed and choreographed dozens of original and innovative shows and who are experience in working with young people.
Led by Catherine Bennett and Paul Davies. Catherine is a director, choreographer, dancer, writer and teacher. As well as choreographing Volcano’s productions, Catherine has worked with Mr & Mrs Clark and National Theatre Wales, and has led workshops, masterclasses and residencies for Wales Youth Dance Company, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, CandoCo, Stopgap, Greenwich Dance Agency and Random Dance.
Paul is Volcano’s founder member and Artistic Director. He has been creating extraordinary original theatre for several decades and runs Volcano Youth Company for the next generation of theatre makers in Wales.
