Get ready to dive into a lively celebration of Welsh culture, food, and fun all in one place!
Join us for Ffair Cymru in Swansea on Saturday 2nd May at Urban HQ and Volcano Theatre for bank holiday revelry, some serious chat and a hell of a lot of fun!
With the elections in May around the corner, we’ve all got a lot to say about where Wales is headed and where we think it should go. The Ffair is an opportunity to explore that together with our neighbours, to have honest conversations in a safe space, and work out together how we can change things for the better. We’re not going to wait around and hope politicians will do it all for us — we’re putting power back into our own hands.
Ffair Cymru is a collaboration between Absurd Intelligence, Climate Cymru and the great Swansea community. On the day you will find Mioe Creative Solutions, Women4Resources, The CAE, Chinese in Wales Association, The Byline Times Network, The Common Cause Foundation, No Fit State Circus, Pathways to Peace, poets Rufus Mufasa, Mari Ellis Dunning and Jamie Woods, and many more!
Across Wales, we have a long tradition of caring for one another and shaping our futures collectively. From workers organising medical care in Tredegar, to quarrymen standing together in Penrhyn, to farmers building co-operatives in Aberystwyth, our communities have always known the power of solidarity.
Come and be a part of Ffair Cymru – a community-led cultural gathering to come together through art, conversation, music, shared food and family-friendly activities — to reflect honestly on the issues shaping our communities and to imagine what a better way of living together could look like.
The fate of Wales is in our hands!
