We all love seeing trees inside our towns but what exactly happens inside the trunk, and why are the trees where we live so important?
Get up close to metre wide slabs of tree trunk in our hands-on exhibition. Join us to explore these slabs, investigate information stored in the tree rings and create beautiful prints.
The slabs are from a huge Redwood which was sadly felled in Penllergare Valley Woods; we use them to explore this historic tree’s story, and to prompt discussion of why urban trees are so important for us, for nature, and for our climate.
