Fundraiser for Gaza

All are welcome to this event organised by Swansea Unite Community Branch. We have two great films which will give an insight into the problems Palestinians face every day, even without the current horrors going on in Gaza and the West Bank. We also have two workshops. We will be making paper birds to remember all the children killed in Gaza (currently 15,300). Also there will be kite making. Kites are a symbol of freedom in Gaza. Already in Swansea we have had some kite flying days organised by Palestinian groups. Weather permitting we will go out on Sunday 9th June, near The Secret on Swansea beach, and fly our kites with our Palestinian friends. Of course the main purpose of our event is to raise money for Medical Aid to Palestine. Even if there is a ceasefire agreement the Palestinians will be desperately needing this for years to come.
