Part of Great Big Green Week, the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.

Exploring how plastic waste affects sea creatures, with choreographer Catherine Bennett and creative practitioner Bill Taylor-Beales. Ages 7-11. Register in advance.

With artist Clare Misselbrook. All materials provided.

Beyond Recycling Belt-Making Workshop
Drop in and make your own groovy belt from recycled bike tyres (takes 15-20 mins). Donations welcome.

A place to donate and receive baby items with no referral or paperwork .

Swansea Library of Things
Find out more about Swansea’s own Library of things, a new low-cost borrowing initiative which aims to help people borrow useful items they may only need for a few jobs. Instead of buying a new item that ends up never being used again, members can pay a small fee to borrow it, use it and return it when they’re done with it!

Donate or pick up seeds from our collection.

For help and info on recycling, setting up community recycling schemes, litter-picking.

Pick up recycling bags and bins and local recycling information

Sunflower Lounge
Grow your own sunflower kits, photos and prints for sale from Sunflower Lounge Wales, a social enterprise supporting care experienced young people and care leavers through education and into employment across Wales.

Live music from the Young Musicians Network

Pop-up Recycling Centre.
Bring Batteries, CDs and DVDs (cases and inlays removed), corks, broken mobile phones and used wellies.

Matthew’s House Collection
Bring your unwanted good-quality waterproof coats, trousers, socks and sleeping bags.

FREE TEA, COFFEE AND SQUASH throughout the day.
