THE CULTURE CONNECTORS

Catch them around the City!

The Culture Connectors

The Culture Connectors are our team of four part-time student researchers who are exploring Swansea, meeting residents, visitors and workers and striking up conversations about culture, the city and home.

They are Ammu, Ayushi, Gauri and Wan and you will find them popping up at places or events of interest – the market, galleries and exhibitions, performances, outdoor events.

The team design and plan their  own research and create content for social media. Follow us on Instagram to find out what they’re up to.

So far they’ve visited the Glynn Vivian Gallery, NoFit State Circus, Swansea Market and various shopping centres, and have been finding out what people think about the Great Tomato Shortage, which food reminds them of home, what music captures the spirit of Swansea and what Easter means to them. They’ll be putting in an appearance at Swansea Pride.

Culture Connectors is based on an idea piloted with the support of an Arts Council of Wales Connect & Flourish grant.
